We are searching for a passionate, enthusiastic and on-trend Development Chef to join our clients’ team.

Working within independent education, this role is diverse, ever-changing and not for the faint hearted! Adaptable and flexibility is vital and naturally, you will have a love of food and be up to date with all things food related.

As the role will be working within education, you will need to have an enhanced DBS check.

What will the role involve?
* Managing multi-operations
* New site openings
* Involvement in menu development, innovations and implementing these in sites
* Recruiting, training and developing teams across the business
* Working closely with Senior Management, Marketing and Sales Teams
* Supporting and covering sites as required

This is a national role so a clean driving licence is essential.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hrs per week, 52 week contract
Travel is heavily involved and you will be required to stay away when necessary

You, as the ideal candidate, would be
* an Exec Chef or Head Chef with a stable work history (min 18 months in jobs)
* experienced within education catering at a senior level
* exceptionally organised with time management skills
* a people person – able to communicate and work with a wide range of people
* financially astute and understand accounts/budgets/cost control
* attentive to detail and presentation
* up to date with food trends, concepts and all things food related
* level headed with an ability to remain calm and work under pressure
* keen and determined with an enthusiastic, positive, can do attitude
* flexible to travel across the UK and stay overnight when required
* full clean driving licence
